About Carl denton

From jumping off the school bus to fill his arms with daffodils as a young boy, to foraging greenery for one of his wedding clients today, Carl Denton’s love for florals has evolved over the years, turning into nothing less than a true passion. Carl has worked in various facets of the event industry, including catering, planning, and of course floral arrangements, but found most enjoyment in floral design and has flourished there.

Growing up in Calhoun, Mississippi with a father who worked as an agricultural farmer, Carl learned from a young age how to care for and nurture plants, all the way from from seed to bloom. After graduating college, he moved to Utah and subsequently Hawaii where he worked with kids suffering from behavioral issues. There, he both taught the kids practices of primitive survival — how to live off the land and survive in the woods — and hosted festive group dinners, where his foraged table scapes became a favorite element of their community gatherings. A love of the South and a yearning for four seasons brought him back east, and he stumbled upon Nashville seemingly on accident. After spending merely a few days in Music City, Carl fell in love with the town and decided to stay. His first job was with a catering company, in which he was consistently asked to create beautiful table arrangements for the caterers clients. The rest, as they say, is history.

A lover of ample texture, distinctive flowers, and limitless creativity, Carl’s arrangements are hard to forget. From the smallest boutonniere to the most vast ballroom-size installations, every project is treated with immense passion, keen attention to detail, and an endless love for nature’s beauty.
